of course tho handmaiden isn't at oscars so that doesn't really matter but yo that movie was good. also all three of those movies make for great companion pieces, they share a lot of the same themes, all feel like rebuffs to some trends, and all three end in couples escaping some sort of "reality" to escape into dreams
