When a flank folds it's quick enough to run away and join the other flank and just shotgun the hell out of enemy tanks

I played some games earlier today, spammed the usual PANSY advert. Had a few biters, one guy in particular who was pretty offended at the idea of an LGBT clan. Oh you poor thing. 15-0 games aren't exactly uncommon these days. It's gotten to the point where if we're up 15 to 5, I'll start playing suicidally to try to get the enemy to shoot something (and also to farm as much damage as I can) and if the last enemy dies and we haven't lost anyone, I'll TK someone to stop the sweep. 15-0 blowouts are actually really bad too because if the enemy doesn't deal any damage, the winning team gets much less XP. If your team 15-0s, there's a reasonable chance that the highest XP on the team is like 800.

There are a lot of ways to get frustrated in this game, and one of the worst is having a game where I just drive around for several minutes not getting to actually do anything because the enemy team are useless mooks who just die before I get there. If I'm on the losing side it'll at least be over with quick and I can get out and go play another tank.

Strongholes is back online and its got a whole new interface and it looks like you can just jump into other clan's stronghold detachments. Maybe they won't let you play, but it should be much easier to find a pickup team

Just two days ago, I was that one tank because I launched myself into the last remaining enemy for a 190 damage hit ram that killed us both, because I knew he wouldn't live past my reload and I don't give a poo poo about perfect matches

Been a while since I had a laugh like that in this game.

new stronghold system trip report: It's awesome. We can just start a stronghold with however many people want in, pubbies just jump in and fill the other spots, then we can boot them as other PANSYs want to join.

I just bought the T-10 and have been playing it for a day or two. It's a really disappointing tank after the IS-3. I really liked brawling and now I guess I can't do that.

We had some great Strongholds tonight. Cromwell wolfpackin' all over the place. That said we also got capped out a bunch, but who cares. That was the most fun I've had in a tank in a good while.

I put my money where my mouth is and bought the 252U and played it a lot over the weekend. I still think it's overpowered, maybe not quite as game breaking as I initially feared, but I've got 2200 average damage and over a 60% winrate in the stupid thing, despite some amazingly stupid teams who just refused to win. Amongst t8s the only ones with more damage are my ISU, RHM (all games pre-nerf), 416, and IS-3. My IS-3 is only 70 average damage higher and I played my IS-3 when I was at my peak. Makes tons of credits too. Also trip report on the newly buffed 4202: it's still slow and bad. There is no reason it should have such bad gun handling for 230 damage when the Rev gets much better handling for 390. I've seen the heavies on my team melt against one while i raped it by nailing that lower plate over and over. It can be a good tank, but because window lickers are buying them it's becoming a tank that gets poo poo on unless it has support near by to carry it. It took them three minutes to kill him and he still got like second in damage. Apparently the front half of the WZ-111 roof is 100mm of loving armor, which is patently absurd, and then Steel managed to bounce 40mm of armor between the cupolas on the 110's roof with a 150mm cannon. Naw, now that it gets 192 AP pen and 258 gold pen, it's perfectly reasonable. It used to suck because it had inconsistent armor and module damage issues and was slow as molasses AND had pen problems which made it struggle against many tier 9s and frequently bleed credits, but now it's a slow, reasonably armored tank with a good gun. Being able to pen things now means it can afford to fire from range where its armor can do something. It's still boring to play but there's no way to fix that.
