I bought an X5 because I missed the sale and it's fun enough (+37℅ missile ROF on twin SRM2 still makes like no net heat so it's like machine guns that actually hurt) but holy poo poo missiles nonreg all the time and it's one of those special mechs with fewer module slots so goodbye target info gathering And of course the Viper can do similar builds and fly because clan magic doesn't need quirks and Oh crap I basically paid money for a cbill Jenner Also isn't the tonnage scale between xl305+ and xl300 strange? Still I broke 3:1 KDR with it! I will be the publord

New sale up on Resistance heroes. Seems like they really want to milk this "reskin old mechs" cow dry. But then again there's an urbie with loving light bars so I guess if you absolutely have to give them  for something it should probably be this.

Every time I see a gold mech it's always got some insane loadout and the person basically brought it out to have a laugh about how stupid everything is, so I usually just follow them around and we gently caress around and lose the game instead of legging them or whatever, particularly if it's one of the light mechs. There's more fun to be had watching both teams blow up about a gold mech than there is in legging them, I think.
