If I was the leaker, I would have my leakage not involve my cell phone at all, and then I would pitch the surprise cell phone check to Spicey so as to waste everybody's time and energy and to wholly misdirect would-be amateur detectives. The whole strategy is very "lovely middle school principal". The kids don't respect you? Well, why don't you each make them write an essay about how much they respect you. Hurr durr they're making the problem worse. The leakers clearly leak because they hate the administration, and they either want to force a change, or they just don't take this seriously and they think (correctly) that it's funny to leak this stuff.
