April 15 (the weekend before Amonket prerelease) they are going to have an in store event for new players. You get a welcome deck and a foil full art land. The welcome decks are crappy but it would be a good place to start, learning the rules and maybe meeting people who play in your area.

Tapping Grove of the Burnwillows makes an opponent's Death's Shadow disappear if the mana ability increases the Death's Shadow's controller's life from 12 to 13. It can be undone by undoing the tap for mana as long as there isn't a triggered ability that happens when that player gains life.

Is there a bug? I thought you were saying you could Tap for life gain, Death's Shadow dies, undo and Death's Shadow stays dead. But when they undo the Tap for life gain, the Death's Shadow reappears.

It seems like the implementation is the correct one. Unless you're able to make infinite death-triggers from a Blood Artist or something.

AFAIK it's not a bug, just fun to do because of the MTGO visualization.

This is not completely true, there are some junky green-ramp devotion lists that use Primal Command as a swiss army knife.

Fire-Field Ogre, 4/2 first strike for 1UBR with unearth for UBR. Easily the worst in the cycle. Sedraxis Specter is a huge improvement.

Snapcaster at least makes some sense as a mythic. People were speculating Goblin Guide at mythic a while back, and that truly wouldn't have made any sense.
