I've noticed a trend with people and online fanart. Basically, when Standard Internet Person looks at something from the source material, their mind parses it down through various filters. Sometimes it comes down to "Do I want to gently caress x" with x representing the current idea in their mind. Then, depending on the image in question, it filters through the persons various biases. How can I make this my own/How did the creators mess up and how can I fix it? Can I make money/attention off of people who think the same way? Most of the time, it's subconscious decision making up until the 'final draft' ends up being formulated, and then they put it into action. So said person probably didn't know they wanted a high-end 3D model of a money-hungry spider lady until quite a bit after they saw said spider lady. The moral is, you never know what weird poo poo you're going to like until it's too late.

That's Vinny in both his Twitch channel Vinesauce and band Red Vox guitarist/vocalist roles. His streams and his music are chill and good. I love the story behind that tune, how it wouldn't leave his head (lyrics were partly from a dream) and he recorded it in studio to exorcise the drat thing.
