I don't recall thinking he was bad to the point where it offended me, but rather I just forgot that he existed for months at a time until someone mentioned his name in passing.

He was ludicrously overused, seems to struggle at the NHL level when he's not with Pachioretty and - this is the reason why he's really bad - him being literally the only francophone on the Habs for a couple years there made him l'antichambres main pet. I think they finally got over him last year after Danault arrived.

Went to the Sabres vs Preds game, had a good time. Sabres blew their lead in the final moments of the third period then couldn't capitalize on a PP in OT and lost!! Alternate version: Preds overcame a slow start and erased a two-goal deficit twice to beat the Sabres in OT. Forsberg had the tying goal and the game winner. Rinne was amazing in the OT penalty kill.

I love that, having watched a lifetime of NASCAR, I am not at all surprised nor phased, and slightly entertained, by someone walking toward someone they want to kill after an event finishes. I said "Yeah, get 'em Torts" out loud. I'm only gonna be pissed about maybe not getting that point if it messes with the seeding after 82. Kale posted:Best Tortispissed.gif in a while. Torts took the high road in his post-game interview when asked about the penalty. "It was a hard-fought point." and "Don't try to work me into what went on. We played a hard-fought game and...don't try to bait me into anything else." At the very least, I'm glad to be 2-0-1 coming out of the bye with Minnesota to come. Yeah, that sort of officer corruption deserves to be posted here, too. I put it in the GDT.Lobsterboy posted:We cant complain TOO much, considering we got 5/6 pts from Montreal this season... I'm more than happy with wins over the Rags, New Islanders, and an OTL over Montreal which very well could've been a regulation loss coming off the bye.

So you think Miller gets a call about this? Bonus points for the announcers defending the hit where the principle point of contact was very clearly the head. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pw4Rgdoe-JI e: I guess you could make the argument that it's a clean hit because the principle point of contact was the shoulder and he rode up into the head, which is probably what'll be said and no discipline will follow.
