Other things I've read are saying 4-6 weeks. 6 weeks would put him at coming back sometime round 2 ish.

I think they can beat the Rockets without him it's just basically a toss up. Hopefully he'll get back in time for that series.

Edit: Clearly I don't date. 6 weeks would put him at the start of the playoffs, not round 2.

This post is assuming they drop the one seed though.

Yeah I'm dumb.

Edit: I don't think the Warriors should have issues getting through the first round without him. Assuming it's a Jazz or Clippers match up in round two, do they even have problems there? At this stage I'm inclined to think not, neither of those teams have looked how I thought they'd look.

The Clippers have like ten losses with Chris Paul and Blake in the lineup or something

If Durant is out or not at 100%, then Houston's strategy of "outshoot Golden State" becomes way, way more feasible. They are going to have to play old rear end David West and Old rear end Andre Iguodala way more, which is going to limit their efficiency.

Counting on Matt Barnes to do anything other than fight someone is a fools errand, and they are going to have to play Klay out of position more, which limits how they can hide Steph of defense. It's a big deal.

durant out until the playoffs makes the 1 seed incredibly vulnerable especially since the warriors and the spurs have to play each other twice more this season.

now the question of course is, do the spurs want to face the clippers in the playoffs? that's a dangerous game

either way, kawhi's mvp chances are improving

You want the clippers instead of Houston if you are the better team. If Houston catches fire they could theoretically beat anyone. I'm not sure I'd say that about the Clippers.

If you are a bad team you want Houston. If they go cold they could get knocked out in round 1.

Portland will sneak into the 8 seed against the Warriors and knock them out. Houston will get revenge in round 2 for 0.9 and then win the championship.

its just that the clippers are spurs-killers.

two powerful bigs that the spurs have had trouble stopping and cp3 who always gives the spurs fits.

as a spurs fan, i'm not afraid of houston. not at all, really. but i am fearful of the clips, just because of the way they match up and the history.

well, let's fight for the 1 seed and then start panicking.

lebron has no claim to cosmic justice against the spurs.

he got bailed out by a one in a million ray allen miracle shot.

they're both going to have to play from scratch.

though, if the matchup is anything like the regular season, it'll be great!
