Anyway this debate is boring point is CC is right go compete in primaries and generals and win them and then the party will be more left wing. the VA and NJ governor elections, the special elections, state legislative races and mayoral races this year are all major opportunities for leftists to try to elect better people to positions of real power.

The question of "if the DNC chair is such a powerless pointless position why did the Obama camp go to so much trouble to keep it out of Ellison's hands instead of just giving it to the left to shut them up" has never been resolved to my satisfaction
