Good Soldier Svejk posted:What in the holy hell does that mean? I don't want to over-analyze but that's like how the Anaheim GM talked about Despres. If he's not majorly broken Sullivan really needs to work on how to deliver bad news. It sounds like a concussion but they don't want to come out and say it's one for whatever reason. What else could be day-to-day but now it's longer but we're not sure how long?

I don't live out in Coram or Riverhead. It takes an hour or more from an arch from Wantagh - Bethpage - Glen Cove and further out. That's All of Suffolk and a decent chunk of Nassau that make it inconvenient as hell to get to a game from. More expensive tickets, more hassle, more travel costs and time and up until the Cappy firing a losing product. No surprise a lot of the original fan base wasn't making the extra effort to get to the barclays to have crappier sight lines and pay more for concession (which were much better tasting at least). Also hurting them are all the monday/tuesday/thursday home games instead of Friday ones. The guaranteed revenue from the arena deal is great and worth it for the team, but if they end up having to renegotiate those terms then why stay? The Coliseum was/is a dump and a half but Barclays has plenty of its own problems. Rotten Cookies posted:Josh Ho-sang getting good ice time, time on PP, overtime, and a spot in the shootout. And he looks alright doing it! He's looked real good, lot of jump and hasn't made many mistakes so far. Aside from that 3rd period PP shift where he just didn't want the puck and played hot potato with Seidenberg? 7 or 8 times in a row.

Dude need to hang them up before he winds up dead or in a home with mush for brains.

Canucks signed some mediocre over-ager from the QMJHL. At least they're not using draft picks on these guys any more.

Is there a league rule that says they have to disclose if it is a concussion?

Gimme dem points.Pornographic Memory posted:I thought the trade deadline was only the end of the period in which you could trade players and have them still be eligible to participate in the playoffs, and that actually you can trade year round except for the Christmas roster freeze? You can. Hartnell for Umberger+4th was between the end of the playoffs and the Draft. Like June 15th or something. You can also sign players who can't play in the playoffs now unless something changed, too. See Marty Turco to Boston.

colorado is on pace for a 48-point season. the last non-expansion team to finish with fewer than 50 points was the 1998-99 Lightning. darcy tucker led the team in points.
