I set it up by a window and have a fab to blow across a dish out the window. You really only need just enough alcohol to slosh on all the parts. Using more just increases dry time.

Is it rly worth making edibles? I did coconut butter once and it was ok, I'd emulsify it in coffee and I think it worked a bit. I have at least an ounce of AVB now. Maybe two.

I mean, it's a different kind of high, so whether it's worth it will depend. Edibles tend to be much more couch-lock, stare blankly for me and sometimes I want that but usually I just want enough chill to take my natural "HI MY NAME IS TENDAI AND I'M CHRONICALLY ANXIOUS" edge off. I like this thread because I can ask my dumb amateur-stoner questions like will hash stink up the house making it. Thanks weed bros

You can extract it to coconut oil and use the coconut oil topically instead of eating it. Depending on how strong you make it, rubbing it on sore muscles will either not get you high or will only get you mildly high. And it works pretty well for muscles that are tight and cramping up. And if you do want to use the topical for getting high, you can rub it on the insides of your wrists, where the veins are close to the surface and you'll definitely feel the effects that way. You can also mix some with a strong vodka or 151 and make a tincture. That's also technically edibles, but most people use only a drop or two of tincture, and I think a lot of it gets absorbed in their mouth (so maybe the high is different than edibles?). I haven't tried it yet though, so I can't offer a personal comparison. And I would assume a tincture doesn't really go bad for a long, long time. EDIT: The topical oil is also really good for rashes, eczema or other skin conditions. My husband has bad eczema on his hands that cause his palms to crack open and bleed. He tried a bunch of steroid creams and lotions and he would have to put them on every single night, sleep with gloves on top of the lotion and then it would slowly improve over the course of doing that every 2-3 weeks. I had him use the extracted oil that I made instead, and every time he uses it, his eczema is 90% gone after 2 applications. That's the magic of using a vaporizer, because you can "smoke" (well, vape) it, then save the used up stuff for making topicals or edibles. If I mixed some shatter/oil with coconut oil all I'd need to do to have it ready to use would be to melt them together and mix, right?
