http://www.cnn.com/2017/03/04/politics/donald-trump-jeff-sessions-reince-priebus/index.htmlquote:President Donald Trump is extremely frustrated with his senior staff and communications team for allowing the firestorm surrounding Attorney General Jeff Sessions to steal his thunder in the wake of his address to Congress, sources tell CNN. quote:In particular, the renewed focus on Russia is seen as a major letdown after Tuesday when top officials were riding high, congratulating one another on Trump's speech to Congress. quote:When the President returned to the White House Thursday evening from a day trip to Virginia, there were "a lot of expletives." The source said for more than a week Trump had been lamenting that his senior staff "just keep getting in their own way." quote:Trump is upset because he doesn't believe he is getting credit he thinks he deserves for his time office so far because of self-inflicted wounds and missteps, the source said. An informed presidential ally outside government but close to the President said Trump was really angry about having a "mini disaster" a week. The President's mood is adding to tremendous pressure inside the West Wing and aides have been seen in tears in recent days at multiple meetings.

That dude (I use that term non-sexistly it very well could have been a woman) had literally the entire world to park but chose the one spot the tree fell on. That's like a 2 trillion to 1 shot.

Probably your chances of having a tree fall on your car can be significantly reduced by not parking your car right next to the tree you are cutting down. Just a thought

The footage will probably pop up at some point, it seems that every second person at the protest was filming it on their phone. There's already a few 1 hr + youtube videos. It'd probably be possible to combine all the footage and create a realtime 3D render of the entire protest from every angle.

Serious question, if we have a milgoon in the house. Why do they always throw the grenade with that stiff-armed out-to-the-side maneuver? It looks awkward as hell, not to mention accident-prone. Why not just toss it like a baseball?

You really don’t want muscle memory to take over and throw overhand when you’re throwing out a window. Platystemon has a new favorite as of 20:20 on Mar 5, 2017 |

In my experience folks are terrified of grenades - real ones, practice ones or even smokes or whatever - makes them act clumsily very often. Another is that when throwing frags, the most oft-trained method involves pulling the grenade out and back from the chest in that straight arm movement to remove the pin, then tossing it. Mostly though just lack of experience. Honestly though that clip in particular really confuses me. Smoke grenades have no delay on going off, and no training grenade makes that big a 'flash' of light. I wanna say it's staged for fun if anything.
