Flaming weapons make cold resistance completely irrelevant, it turns out. I guess if you only have one and it breaks while you're out there you have to warp out, but it's not like you don't have time to do so. Wonder if there's ice weapons which do the same for fire.sigmachiev posted:

A couple questions about armor: 1) Are there any particularly good sets I should prioritize upgrading? 2) What sorts of items should I be saving for item upgrades? I really want to sell gemstones for rupees but I'm hearing people talking about having to farm for them later for armor upgrades because they sold too many so now I'm worried I'm going to just be poor forever.

Holy poo poo, I just fought and engsmsploded a miniboss. That was AWESOME.  Stone Talus doesn't seem terribly hard once you figure out how to stun and fight it. Then again, I was smacking its weakpoint with a 50-power claymore, so...

Holy poo poo, hunting and gathering tip!  If you kill a game animal (or at least a heron?) with an Ice Arrow, you get frozen meat that comes with heat resistance. I can't wait to try cooking with it!

So the final boss is dead and I have a star on my save file now. I counted 5 phases. Holy poo poo how am I not dead I was literally down to just a single Royal Guard Bow and a very few Ancient Arrows by the time that fight was done. I should probably go get the Master Sword now I'm guessing?

The last thing I did today was completely skip the maze at the NE corner of the map by climbing over because gently caress mazes. Did I miss anything besides random chests by doing that?

That island has 2 hats, a bunch of huge elemental swords and shields and some gemstones. The hats are in the shrine which I assume you got, and when the shrine is beaten a hole opens up in front of it with wind flowing out of it. Drop on in and have a blast!!!

I just watched the memory where the Champions see Calamity Ganon awake and man the Goron Champion's VA is prob the best one in this game. Fitting cause Gorons own.

P.S. you can respec heart containers/stamina vessels from the shifty statue in Hateno Village, head down from the shrine warp point and take a left from the flagpole
