It used to bother and confuse me how people were so drat quick to disappear or block/delete me despite knowing each other for a long time. The whole idea of apologizing, admitting fault, or "making up" is anti-Face culture, so people don't realize how idiotic and childish it is to scurry away and hide forever because of a disagreement or something else.
It still bugs me, but I question it less now. I don't even have to consider what went wrong, beucase there's a chance it is all stupid regardless.

I went back to the place where I bought the tiles, they didn't have any tile adhesive (pretty sure the guy wasn't just being a dick, where it was stacked before was empty). He suggested I go next door but thats where the cement oval office's shop is, so I went to the building materials shop in the restaurant and they not only had what I needed but they have a new shop cat as well :3:

Apparently they have been calling for more "not boycotts/sanctions" against Lotte Group, and anything else South Korean.

But given the way the CCP operates, and the new team in the White House, I doubt anyone will be capable of rational discourse for at least 4 years.

the get rich quick culture in china should also encourage people to have more female kids in order to sell their daughters off in marriage in the future...which of course defeats the purpose of the investment over time
