Spent the morning driving around the local Target, Best Buy, TRU, and Walmart, all sold out since Friday. This is in the western suburbs of Chicago, looks like demand far outstripped supply. I guess that's what I get for wanting to wait for reviews and not pre-ordering... Did see lots of pro controllers and accessories, just no systems!

Did anyone get the Nintendo case that comes with the screen protector? I'm trying to gauge the size on it but can't really tell. I just want basically a small soft pouch to keep it from getting dinged up in my bag.

If its decent, I might want to get this game to hold me over until mario kart. Im curious to know if its smooth, or laggy, if other players are teleporting around or not.

Yo it's cool that people like Zelda but if you want to talk about specific locations and characters and stuff would you mind doing it in the Zelda thread? It's a cool game about discovering stuff and some of us are deliberately not posting in that thread so that we can discover that stuff before hearing about it online. Thanks.

The joycons enabling spontaneous multiplayer for simple games makes me really want them to release RBI Baseball for it. I hate that it's PS4/xb1 only.

That said those games are bad mobile ports of mobile versions so I don't see why they couldn't port it to the system that's basically a tablet.

I regret I already ordered a different one, because I had presumed it would be a crap build like Club Nintendo swag, but it has nice protection, straps to keep everything down, a net for accessories, and grips for game carts. Only complaint is not enough space to put in a grip

The interesting thing that makes this less of a criticism is that none of the major cases with any decent reviews have space for the grips. I think I saw one but it's defective with the zippers coming into contact with the device.

After playing a poo poo ton of Zelda and nothing else, I can say that the Switch actually owns and is a good console. I really underestimated the portability and convenience of this thing, its awesome. I uhhh hope that other good games come out for it?

Eh, my usage of a case is to put my device in it and toss it in my bag, so I don't really need room for a grip or charger in the case itself. Is the Sheikah case hard? If so it'll do for me. Of course, the baller move is to attach it to your belt just like Link but I don't think I'm cool enough to pull that off. Stan Taylor posted:Did anyone get the Nintendo case that comes with the screen protector? I'm trying to gauge the size on it but can't really tell. I just want basically a small soft pouch to keep it from getting dinged up in my bag. I got it and returned it because I really didn't like it. It's very snug and basically fits right around the Switch, it doesn't feel like it has a "skeleton" of its own if that makes sense. Any pressure on the case will apply pressure directly onto your screen (through the middle flap which is pressed tight against it) . It'll definitely protect the buttons and protect your Switch from getting scratched by other stuff in your bag but it doesn't feel safe otherwise. It for sure feels like a "small soft pouch" though so it may be what you want! My criteria for a case is whether I can put it in my messenger bag and have it get knocked around or inadvertently kicked or jammed in a tight space under an airplane seat (I fly a lot) without cringing, and I didn't get that vibe from the case with the screen protector pack-in. Edit: talking about this one just in case. Tender Bender fucked around with this message at 18:49 on Mar 6, 2017 |

Since Fast RMX was only $20 I said F it, and got it. I liked that I could continue cooking in Zelda, and watch videos of other games in the nintendo store, and have the game download in the backround at a decent speed. Its multi tasking like a proper home console. Quick impressions of the game. This is the first time i've had the HD haptic feedback really do something, and its crazy, the way it simulates the feel of tires on the road, and even kind of makes the sound of the tires. The game looks really pretty, and the sense of speed when you boost is nuts. But I am horrible at the game, and online multiplayer would not connect, but I expect that to be a temporary thing. I'm gonna dock it and see it at 1080p and 60fps. This is some PC poo poo right here. But of course, its just a racing game, which is much less demanding and easier to push graphically. BTW Snipperclips is one game you can download a demo of in the store if anyone wants to try it.
