"When I was a girl, around 12 or 13, I had a fantasy that I'd grow up to marry Captain Scarlet, but he'd be busy fighting the Mysterons so I'd cuckold him with the sexiest people I could think of - Nigel Mansell, Pat Sharp and Mr. Blobby."

I agree with Steve.

Remember Corbyn is roughly proposing the Norwegian social democrats platform.

Yep, bit naive to assume that all the media fairly represents his standing, especially with the how the last couple of days have panned out.

Cool analogies and everything but the problem is a number of people want Corbyn to be portrayed as a left-wing extremist, and they don't see it as a negative thing.

I'm not entirely sure how someone is supposed to get a hostile press whose proprietors and editors are fundamentally opposed to your politics onside in how they portray you.

There have been studies which this thread has seen which have shown that Corbyn has time and time again been misrepresented in the media.

Who on the left wants milquetoast social democrats to be portrayed as left-wing extremists other than other milquetoast social democrats who want to play revolutionary?

Stephen Hawking shouldn't have let his first wife leave him out in the sun for so long

e/ my fave Steve Hawking story is when he was in San Francisco with Leonard Suskind and his wheel chair rolled down one of the big hills and when Leonard caught up with him, he asked if he could do it again.

It's because everyone to the left of Angela Merkel gets described as leftwing by at least one newspaper so from a societal level it's literally true than no one knows (or agrees) what it means.
