It was super bad tonight. I'd either get thrown into a half finished game or someone on my team would get merced in the first round and they would quit. Probably only 2 or 3 solid matches in 3 hours of playing.

I sent a support thing them asking when For Honor stopped counting as a new release so I could spend my coupon on it that I didn't notice when I redeemed it didn't work for new releases. So the support ticket told me that I can't spend the promo code on For Honor because it's a new release.

2-0x0000E000, both NATs open as EGGS said, both have a ton of ports forwarded and all that stuff. One time I deleted him from my friend list and then re-added him and it worked, but that hasn't worked again, it's basically a 45 minute science experiment every time we want to try and play.

Yeah it seems to be totally random how to fix it. Something that works once rarely works again.

There are a bunch more to open then what they ask. I could not even connect (stuck in the making squid screen) until I did this.

1) first you need to go to your windows search bar at bottom left and type in: cmd

2) When the black command prompt box appears you type in: ipconfig

3) Scroll down and look for IPV4 Address. it should be something like 192.168.0.4
This will show you your computers actual IP address assigned by your modem/router.

4) Now you go to any Internet explorer or chrome or opera ect... and type in the address bar your router ip adress which is the default gateway. you can find this also in cmd by doing ipconfig and it is listed under default gateway.

5) Once you are in your modem screen login. You should know you username and password, if not check under the modem for the default username and password to login.

6) now find port forwarding in your settings, (you will need to click advance settings for this not simple).

7) Here you need to forward the following ports and assign the IP address for your computer, which you find in cmd - ipconfig - IPV4

8) the ports need to be done 1 at a time, here is how to do them.

port 1) Start Port:14000 / End Port: 14024 TCP

port 2) Start Port:79 / End Port: 80 TCP

port 3) Start Port:442 / End Port: 443 TCP

port 4) Start Port:3073 / End Port: 3075 UDP

port 5) Start Port:6014 / End Port: 6016 UDP

in each one you type the start port and end port then the drop down box select TCP for the first 3 listed above and then UDP for the last 2.
you will need to name each one this can be anything for example, siege 1, siege2, rainbowsix, game1 ect... the name is just for you to know what that port is if you ever wanted to check.

Usually each time you restart your modem it assigns your devices different ip addresses, so next time it restarts your computer may be given a different ip and therefore the ports forwarded will be useless because they are for a different ip.
To prevent this from happening you will need to make your ip address for you computer always stay the same so them ports will always stay forwarded to your computer and never having to change the settings again and enjoy playing siege without errors.

To do this you need to go in to your modem settings and find DHCP Reservations.

Now you just fill in the blank form like this.

Device Name: Name it Anything you want

MAC address: Enter the Mac of your pc. Scroll down the list of devices shown and find your IP address (same as port forwarded IP), then on the left of that enter that Mac address. That is the Mac for you computer.

IP Address: Type your computers IP, it will be the same as the one you forwarded all the ports to.

Then you just save settings and restart your modem and your computer.
Finally you are done and can enjoy playing siege without the errors of friends not being able to join your lobby and now you will always have OPEN NAT type unless you ever delete the settings you just did

I tried to make it as user friendly as possible for those who are not that computer literate. It should take you about 5mins max to do this. Enjoy and add me on UPlay if you want to play with me and friends, please minimum gold rank lol

I understand what you are saying, but considering that support told me they had some amazing fix for me but needed a few days to put it together, and then just emailed me a copy/paste of an existing support article, I don't really have a lot of faith in them and don't see the need to waste my time jumping through hoops for them to give me crap answers.

Thanks to those offering more advice and PMing, etc. - I still like this game - it's great - I just don't bother trying to party up unless there's 3+ of my friends online so that we can find the weird rube goldberg series of invites that gets us all in a group.

Also my PSN has the word DADDY in it and last night I played terrorist hunt with a man who kept calling me DADDY but kept getting increasingly uncomfortable about it, A+
