I don't know poo poo about Tekken but I always assumed it was light on like special inputs (DP, half circles etc) and was more just movement and buttons. And since it's only 4 buttons I'm perfectly fine with the DS4 for that, I actually prefer the pad setup for 4 button games

I also do not have a ps4 stick and I find hitting consecutive diagonals (i.e. df, df) a giant pain on the ps4 pad. I also don't have ps+ anymore

A few years ago when I was playing TTT2 a lot I'd watch pros playing with sticks and I realized I'd never be able to make them move like that with a pad but wasn't too fazed by it since I only played like 2 other people regularly and we were all garbage anyway.

Tekken is fine on stick or pad. I played it on pad for a long time but now I'm more used to stick, you can use whichever. IMO if you're trying to get real serious about it, wavedashing is easier on stick, but not everyone wavedashes anyway and it's still doable on pad.

NRS are the only devs I know that have successfully made a fighting game with stiffer movement controls than tekken. Tekken is still good though, I would just rather movement be smoother like soul calibur/virtua fighter.

I assume the answer is "terrible", but how does the "Play your Xbox games over your PC" thing work? Could you conceivably get Tekken for Xbox but stream it to your PC when you feel like playing it there?

I have no problem with it in Western Europe. I barely find 4f Xrd on PC with v-sync off acceptable if that's useful. I probably wouldn't touch it if I lived in America, too big.
