mississippi truly is the worst at loving EVERYTHING.

Tbf I think of you look at the demographics a large part of that is the huge black population who get basically zero school funding. They've quite systemically kept them black population down.

Yeah, yesterday I was thinking the smart play for Donald would be to just keep is distance while saying dumb stuff like he says. Example: "we are coming up with a great healthcare plan that's going to cover everyone and also be affordable it's going to be great."

He could do that forever and none of his true supporters would give a poo poo. But once he starts championing specific policy things will really start to matter....haha what am I saying?!?!? LOL!

There's some cool literature on the subject

quote:

. A study recently published in the British Journal of Political Science, based on data from the U.S. and U.K., found that parents who are insistent that their children adopt their political views inadvertently influence their children to abandon the belief once they become adults. The mechanism is perhaps surprising: Children who come from homes where politics is a frequent topic of discussion are more likely to talk about politics once they leave home, exposing them to new viewpoints—which they then adopt with surprising frequency.

A big problem with any healthcare debate is that to younger people, it's an issue that really doesn't matter; it's mattering is in direct proportion to your age. That's why this bill is so insane to me, it really fucks over older people; which is why I can't see it passing.
