Eli Wiggum posted:I know I asked this before but is it even possible to sign Romo with Brock still on the team? Or do you just cut Brock? You have Brock as a very expensive backup that you will cut the following season You actually lose $6m in cap space by cutting him this offseason Grittybeard posted:Can you cut a guy now and just designate him as a June 1 cut? Yes, but you don't get to use the cap space until June 1 I think It's pretty much a do-right thing so the player can find a new team before all the FA money has been spent Intruder fucked around with this message at 21:07 on Mar 8, 2017 |

I'm sort of getting on board with the Ravens cutting half the team and starting over even though I know it's probably a bad idea.

Pats just traded a 4th round pick to Indy for Dwayne Allen and a 6th. Fare thee well, Martellus Bennett.

To recap Tebows game, he went 0/3, struck out looking twice, grounded into a double play with bases loaded, was walked after being hit by pitch but then was doubled up on first when he lead off too far and couldn't get back to the base in time. He's starting in the outfield on Friday!

He got a standing ovation for this. A run scored so it must have been good!

Forgetting Harbaugh for a moment, we don't really need to cut half the team as much as we need to get top-end talent. It's not like the team is a trash fire we're going like .500 and most of the games are close. But we lack those real impact players like we used to have that really put you over the top and win you those close games. Cutting half the team probably won't do much for us. Tebow is like a version of those Hanson brothers from the movie Slapshot. Has no ability to really do anything but his gimmick draws fans so they send him out there.

I have zero interest in NBA and never watch but I know who all the stars are.

And if he's not Larry Centers and he's playing fullback he drat well better be able to block. And he couldn't. So yes he was horrible.
