My buddy runs a golf cart store down in Florida. His golf cart goes 60 and its electric and is a Ludacris amount of fun. The gas ones push 80+ and are awd. people spend stupid amount of money on them as well.

That's definitely a 4-4-2, with the 190hp Quad 4. Starting in the back row, going front-to-back: ZR-1, 5.0 LX, W41 4-4-2, Vette, Taurus SHO, Plymouth Laser RS Turbo, Shelby Shadow CSX, McLaren Turbo Grand Prix, IROC-Z, Turbo Trans Am.

The G body was dropped the year prior to that, and replaced with the "W" platform. It stands for WRETCHED. because that's exactly what they are in comparison.

There's nothing particularly appealing about those era Corvettes (aside from the ZR-1 up top). Chevy was just figuring out how to get some power out of the engines again, but they were only up to 245 at that point. They were 14 second 1/4 mile cars.

DefaultPeanut posted:Shadows are cool... because I own one and it has glorious 80's turbo lag. Shadows aren't cool because that was my first car and it was slow as balls. 90 horsepower and a 3-speed automatic do not a sports car make. Handling was alright, I guess, but the throttle was really just a volume suggestion.

It's not a best of the 80s. They're 89s, and the GNX died after 87.
