I watched this "X made me racist" post fly straight to the front page on imgur which is full of comments like "stereotypes exist for a reason, this one time I met a black person and they were TOTALLY RUDE" and then this made the front page too  "Someone didn't just make them up one day" Surely no one in history has ever just "made up" things about other races, nationalities or any other thing.  At least the comment section calls this one out for its bullshit.

I have an expression I use as a tongue-in-cheek thing towards actual bigots: "it ain't prejudice if it's true!" And not to seem like a bigot, but it actually holds up when I apply it towards racists; I think of them as idiots, and it turns out to be true!

This happened today. This was on a "facebook memory" from last year, because apparently Lou Sinclark was proud enough of her misogyny last year to remind everyone. Which is what triggered me to touch the poop. Lou Sinclark is a woman I know, who posts a lot of feminist articles and stuff along that line. Most of them are about bodily autonomy, personal choice, etc. I'm Ray Diation/Green (social fixer missed a couple) and yeah, I'm not a woman. But she's doing exactly what she's usually arguing against, here. If she'd even bothered to respond with any form of reasoning I'd feel differently, but this smacks of claiming one's own prejudices as above reproach.   Am I wrong to think this is very irritatingly hypocritical? Am I in the wrong here?

It just doesn't make any sense to me that I've read and gleaned ideas from her articles previous to this, ones that I'm using as tools here, but they're being denied because I'm not a woman. Who were all those articles for? They weren't to educate me on feminism, apparently. Would she value this argument from a woman? Why/why not? It just makes me sad that that's where this is at. That's a good point. I was hoping the language was enough to get the point across, but nah. I'm not good at tactics, I just assume people will see obvious logical lapses when they're pointed out to them, but I'm not sure how I still have that idea after decades of internet.
