Yet where is that woman now? Tell me, in what heave does she reside? None of them. Because no God bothered to listen or care. If that is what you think it means to be a God, then you and all your teachings are welcome to do as that poor women did. And vanish from these realms forever.

But to prevent the usual GOPers from covertly fighting against him, he keeps BOLDLY reminding everyone that Congress listened to the people and is diligently working on _________, _________ & _________, while he’s writing executive orders that will fulfill the agenda.

Reminding everyone that Congress is working tirelessly to fulfill his agenda, while signing their praises makes it impossible for the rats in the GOP to undermine him in any effective manner. He’s got them in a headlock.

Trump has done the same thing with the corrupt media. He’s gone Broadway and has shouted from the rooftops about the biased and unfair coverage, of which Americans agree!

Mixed feelings:

Let's start in agreement: The plan as offered is a big feces-sandwich. That said:
We must remember that this man -- in the face of Democrats, Republicans, and a hostile media -- beat everyone and became President. You don't accomplish that without smarts, determination, and a good strategy.
Trump is better than any of us (or all of us combined) at navigating minefields. He was born under the baptism of fire of New York City, where liberals run riot. He's aware of those sorts of folk, and succeeded in spite of them all.
He said (without quite saying, but I heard it through his surrogates) that this is the very first phase of the process. I guess, when negotiating, you have to start somewhere.
I expect him to start whittling down the things he does not like, and beefing up the things he likes -- and adding things not yet even mentioned.

So while we might look at what he is doing as 'endorsing', it might be much more likely that what he is doing is 'starting'.

Signing this bill as it is would be a disaster of “Read my lips” import for him.

Ido think a half-dozen conservative changes woud make it accptable though.
After all Trump promised to repeal but also to replace it. And to continue some parts.

Ryan and the GOP have had 7 years to come up with a plan.

If conservatives are angry, they only have themselves to blame
as they voted for Ryan as Speaker.

If they don’t like the current bill, my suggestion is to get rid of Ryan
and start fresh.

I think Trump is just watching this unfold. I think he is loyal to the people who elected him.

This bill of Ryan’s will show Trump that Ryan does NOT have the interest of the people in mind, and it will give Trump the reason he needs to sideline him. I’m hoping it will also, somehow, expose Ryan for being beholding to the pharmaceutical companies. Just my theory, but he’s in someone’s pocket.....

I have complete faith that Trump will pull through. We’re just so used to duplicitous politicians that it’s going to take some time to get used to someone who isn’t one.

Before nobamacare we had Medicade for those who could not afford insurance. It worked quite well. It is still working today. It’s just not talked about. Illegal babies are born and taken care of under medicade, as is their mother. People who cannot afford insurance still use medicade, even for dental and eye care.

Paul Ryan did not like Donald J. Trump during the campaign and let everyone know it. When Pres. Trump was inaugurated Paul Ryan changed his tune “a bit”, just enough to get his- self elected as Speaker of the House. Now that he;s won this position, he can show his true thoughts and feeling. He doesn’t give a whip for anything but his wife’s democrat directions and his “place” as Speaker in the House where
he can preen before tv and sugar coat what he and a few
of the “George soros bought” republicans are doing to the nobamacare bill. It’s nobamacare Lite.

His dealmaking method involves flying a lot of possibilities. This doesn’t mean any particular one is going to get chosen.

However. In the end analysis, Donald is centrist. He might come up with a Trumpcare. This doesn’t mean that Trumpcare couldn’t evolve in a more and more free direction. The problem with our current system is that it is so badly socialistic that hardly anyone would even know what to do with anything else. To unwrap this Lazarus by stages may be the only sane thing to do. It has to be usable by the people, not just theoretically acceptable to political junkies.

A key component of Ocare was forcing insurance companies to accept those with prexisisting conditions. That destroys a core fundamental principle of insurance. Ocare destroyed insurance and replaced it with health care. Trump supports this key component of Ocare. This is a debate over health care spending and taxation which no conservatives or republicans will ever win.

This is Trump’s baby. By proclaiming he wants kid care until 26 and that he wants prexisiting conditions accepted he ceded the debate.

Please tell me why he wouldn’t sign this? He is pressing for it.

Everyone heard Trump say repeal and replace. Did anyone ask him what his replacement plan was? Oh, that did happen and his answer was “it will be a wonderful plan”.

Jim,

It’s anguishing for me to think of RyanCare as the fulfillment of the MANY promises President Trump made to us to replace and repeal Obamacare. RyanCare does not fulfill that promise. Not even close. In fact, it’s a GIANT step backwards.

I poured my heart and soul and (MUCH money) into supporting President Trump’s nomination and subsequent election based on his many promises (especially his promise to repeal and replace Obamacare) and my strong belief that President Trump was different than every other elected official in my lifetime because I actually expected him to keep his campaign promises.

My only hope is that RyanCare is some kind of ruse for unknown political purposes, such as sinking Ryan’s ship or for buying time or something. I’ll be surprised if RyanCare passes the House and stunned if it passes the Senate and done if President Trump signs it.

If President Trump does in fact try to tout Ryancare as the fulfillment of his campaign promise to repeal and replace Obamacare, then I’m in 100% agreement with your statements that President Trump will lose the support of his supporters and is finished as a President; the GOP would be finished as well. And so would our country.

I can forgive President Trump many things, including being unable to fulfill ALL of his promises, and especially those attempted fulfillments thwarted by opposition that cannot be overcome.

However, I will NOT forgive him if he accepts RyanCare as the fulfillment of his campaign promise to repeal and replace Obamacare. I’d actually rather President Trump do nothing at this point and wait until the GOP has a filibuster-proof Senate in 2018 and then do it right, rather than accept counterproductive measures like RyanCare.

Those of us stuck on Medicare and Tricare Life would like upgrades we pay for in scheduled medical procedures. Why should we be stuck with inferior cataract implants when for a little more out of our pocket we can have a better product? Why when they get cataract implants wrong, am I charged FULLY for the Lasix to fix their goof up. You can’t remove implants once they are in, Lasix in this case is their fix, and is not a “cosmetic” procedure but a medical one then.

Why not co-pays for pricey items like hearing aids, eye glasses, and dental which are NOT covered under these 2 plans. They are the items seniors pay fully out of pocket. Or let us get a extra plan that will cover those things. If we do now, it negates our Tricare Life as Medicare

All any business, office, school or any other organization needs to do is to announce:

There, they have “daylight savings time”, with no laws and no changing of clocks.

Paul Ryan wants to undue Trump’s presidency. He wants to go back to being the minority party so he doesn’t have to make decisions and can whine and complain about not having the votes. Then by not aggrevate g anyone he can go on collecting campaign contributions without worrying about challenges. Trump needs to manipulate Ryan, McCain, Graham and a few others out of office aND replace them with princpiled conservatives. Rand Paul is right about Obamacare.

This is just so the globalist can get Trump to put his signature on it. This legislation is also going to fail and it is there way to hurt the president. These people want big government but don’t want to take the blame.

So hey guys maybe we should do something about the actual cost of healthcare? Oh wait, sorry, that'll take regulations and other government actions that you are morally opposed to because decades of indoctrination has you believing that government is bad and wrong.

Healthcare monopolies and price fixing will bankrupt the Federal Government in 8 years regardless of of what is done with Obamacare.

The states that expanded their Medicaid support also happen to have smaller insurance rate hikes. The states that opted out of expanded support are the ones with the absurd increases. Golly, that's sure some correlation right there, I wonder if it's also causation.

Repeal Obamacare. The states that expanded Medicaid knew that the cost would be transitioned to them! This is true. As economy improves this will take care of itself! Get to the corp & tax issues!

Unfetter health plans to Service & sell across state lines. Unfetters their contracted providers as well! Let’s go!

It'd probably be a little higher since there'd be another subject of their ire. Freep needs an authority figure to rail against and fuel their inferiority complex. They can't rail against the President since it's everything they've ever wanted there. The Clintons/Obama are out of the game, and while Freep will hate them to the grave they're not directly responsible for anything in the federal government anymore. Ryan's the highest ranked official that doesn't march the Freep party line and therefore he's the greatest evil that needs to be crushed. If Ryan was to leave the picture somehow someone else would take his place as Freep's Public Enemy #1.

Yeah, their opinion of Boehner when he was speaker was precisely the same as their opinion of Ryan now. Also, I don't really care to trawl FR, but I'm pretty sure that they were fellating him when he unveiled that loving awful Randian wet-dream budget a few years ago - the one that got people talking about him like he was the adult in the room even though the budget was all based on Laffer curve unicorn magic.

For me It’s about what I thought he would deliver. I ask for two things immigration control and SC picks. He is delivering. Anything g else is gravy.

You know, you have to be a real human shitbag to think people with pre-existing conditions shouldn't have health insurance or should pay their way into poverty for it.

Amazing how we become dictators to slaves we create.

Take this "problem" circulating on FaceBook.

The answer to 5+8 is 13. No way around it. Every group of 50 comments has less than 3% answering 13 and greater than 97% answering 34 and 45. It says at the top that 97% will fail.

This exposes how easily people can be manipulated into answering a basic math problem wrong, justifying it with the previous two wrong answers. Over 97%!! So, don't become slaves to a dictator of your own creation.

Hell, I have two hanging over my fish tank that are on 12 hours a day, 7 days a week. My lucky bamboo also responds well to them. They grow to it and don't go all Dracula "Ah, the light, it burns!"

They turn on everyone the moment they run up against the realities of actually being in power and "governing" (using this term loosely). Ryan, Cruz, etc. they turned on. They still love Palin because she quit being governor to do poo poo all. I think they'll turn on Trump eventually, this healthcare bill is just the beginning.

The list itself is a pretty simple "each answer is the sum of the line and the previous answer." How you answer it basically comes down to whether you think the question is "What is 5 + 8?" or "What is the next number in the established pattern?"; like memes about colored dresses or planes on conveyorbelts, it's a question which has two answers in such a way to make you think someone with the other answer must be an idiot.

Trying to assign psychological meaning to it is nothing but the kind of insanity I'd expect from Freep.

Hawaii teacher: 'I won't teach' undocumented immigrants

If you've ever been to Hawaii you know that a huge percentage of the residents are not entirely (or not at all) "of European heritage". Lots of people with Japanese blood,Chinese blood and Filipino blood. It's not difficult to imagine a certain percentage of Chinese and Filipino tourists having overstayed their visas. Some perhaps by decades.
