I agree that some of it is but none of it make me almost puke like Cum on Food did. Thanks for the readings, Lou. I'm working my way through chronologically and just cleared the Tiny Penis Forums on the way home tonight.

As the guy who owns My Tiny Dick commented on that episode quote:You’d be surprised at how small a penis can be before women really considers it small. Then another Tiny Dick member wrote quote:Before you judge people on the internet, let me say that the internet was created to give people a voice and place to be themselves, do not judge people for what they have and have a look in the mirror for once. To which I replied quote:ADMIN NOTE: The internet was not actually created to give people a place to be themselves.

My favorite Lou Reads was I Love Interracial; it was extremely one-note, but it was the podcast equivalent of the Sideshow Bob rake gag, where every time someone posted "I WANT TO WATCH A BLACK MAN WITH A HUGE COCK gently caress MY WIFE" it just got funnier and funnier.

You’re walking in the desert, and you see a child lying on the sand. It is bleeding to death. The child lies on its back, its belly baking in the hot sun, beating its legs trying to turn itself over, but it can't. Not without your help. But you're not helping. Why is that, Mega Man?

Is there someplace to download all of the fplus episodes, or at least grab some in bulk? I'm catching up on the backlog at work and grabbing multiple episodes at once is a pain. Is Fallout Equestria in there because it's still one of the most terrifying videogame-related literature ever produced.

Like mine's a compulsion connected to anxiety and bipolar disorder, so the ones that were clearly self-harm/anxiety behaviors were super depressing, but we started with worms and ended with underpants, that's not the route I expected.

With a side trip through Morgellons! Yeah, I was expecting something akin to /r/popping from the title and instead it was worse and with a side order of the mental issues you brought up. And no, Lou, that is not a suggestion.

This videogame fiction is literally incomprehensible to me. I hear what they are saying, but it's just flowing out my ears without registering the fact that they are PhD students is also not comprehensible to me. The runescape story is making me actually angry edit: they've started improv singing as a group. Somehow this episode is what broke them Famethrowa fucked around with this message at 18:16 on Mar 17, 2017 |

Famethrowa posted:the fact that they are PhD students is also not comprehensible to me. I am going to come up with some explanations (not justifications) that are definitely not the case for the majority of those poems--and likely not even the case for one--but: -Poetry has the same sensitivity that musicals and other "yesteryear's art" media does. They are (in aggregate) slightly proud they are left behind but they are mostly desperate to be relevant, for there to be "innovation" that makes young people care, etc. That is part of why Hamilton blew up so much. Almost every "Best of American Poetry 199x/20xx" anthology intro has some version of "poetry is not dying in fact it is stronger than ever" which, you know, things that aren't dying don't bother proclaiming. -Many poets can write passable "SERIOUS" poems but make incredible clangers when they get out of a formula, try to lean into something, get funny etc. I know most of those weren't trying to be funny, I thought maybe one was. The same person who does "HEY YOU WANT A POWER FANTASY VIDEO GAME WELL HOW ABOUT INSTEAD YOU ARE OLD AND DIE AND NOTHING MATTERS" could probably actually get away with an intentionally understated connecticut kitchen thing about a marriage ending or whatever. -I imagine writing for video games is actually a growth industry and it's hard to get employment as a writer. Not that those folks will, hopefully. I would trade all of those points in for "a lot of MFA/PhD writing programs will accept morons who can pay tuition", though.
