Basically, you run Lando lead (or replace Boba with an Ackbar lead) if your STHan can't get his taunt off before the other guy. Wedge is best so long as you have the speed to get that shutdown opener.

Does this mean that for mod priority on secondary +speed boosts, I should be prioritizing Boba > STH > Else for speed? Until now I'd been doing Boba > Lando > Else and not really focusing on making sure STH goes fast with secondary +speed. Edit: I have the fastest Boba on my baby shard at 186, just diddled my mods around to get STH to 167 which is way faster than before but probably #4 in overall speed on the shard of STHs. Speed for Han is great because when he taunts, the rest of your team will get to go basically immediately, and then every time his turn comes up, he'll knock TM off of your whole opposing team.

One is having an STH faster than anyone else's STH, Boba, etc, so that you always get to taunt first. The other best solution is to have the fastest Biggs so that you can snipe an opposing character and play 5v4. If you kill their Wedge before their Biggs or STH goes, you'll probably win. Next best options, which are all about equal because they rely on a debuff: TFP: + Applies two debuffs that prevent STH from taunting, AB, which buys you a turn, or BI, which doesn't prevent the initial TM gain, but does prevent the taunt Boba: + 2 turn AB, goes through auto-taunts B2: Best against a faster Wiggs -- will get triggered by Biggs opening shot and BI and/or dispel from STH Option D: bring someone with a dispel, like QGJ

i just want to chime in and say holy poo poo chaze. I just unlocked them at 3 stars and haven't even started really gearing them up yet, one is 50 the other is 40. I ran into a GW node 11 that my A team was going to suffer huge casualties trying to beat so I threw a random B team with my new chaze on it at them hoping to burn up some specials or something, but I actually almost beat the entire team with 20-30 underleveled chaze.

my shard the top 40 is almost entirely nihilus - dooku - vader- trooper - sidious teams so whenever I get chaze going I doubt I'll run into many Bobas, at least on defense

The top 10 (including me  ) are 1 wedge, 1 GK, 1 QGJ, 1 Kylo, 1 Vader, 2 Rex, 3 Maul.

My shard is weirdly frozen in time from its inception in September of '16 with 11 Wedge leads in the top 20, along with one each of Palp, HK-47, Ackbar and Rex, and two Boba's. There's only three Zeta's in the top 20 - one Maul, one QGJ, and my Darth Vader. (There's also one dude who runs a Dooku lead who somehow ends up in the top five every other day and then falls to like 40th.)

Ashoka has decent synergy with JKA so she's not worthless, and while her ship isn't the best it's certainly serviceable. Phasma is good for Rancor and phase 1 of HAAT. You're looking at Teebo(L), Ewok Elder, TFP, QGJ, Phasma. Bariss is the only healer you need. Most of your healing will come from Wedge lead anyway. I used Lumi as a lowbie and you'll eventually reach a point where having another damage dealer is better than bringing heals.

Ahsoka can stomp in a zQGJ arena team. Ive seen her run instead of kit fisto in a qgj/yoda/jka/aayla/ahsoka team and her special crit for like 30k

When were those hypothetical changes nobody has confirmed might happen to some of the shipment shops roughly supposed to maybe happen? I only ask because I'm at the point where I have a good spread of characters that take more resources than I generate and I need a long time to level them and gear them so I might start saving things like Cantina credits or guild shop credits.

Given the surging prevalence of zetas in the meta, would it be a good idea to re-word the OP to say something like GET 5-8 DS SHIPS TO 4* ASAP, so that newer players are ready to begin farming them as soon as possible? It doesn't look like there's a level requirement for either the Tier 4 Executrix challenge or the Tier 3 ship ability mats challenge, so it seems like the sooner you have your DS ships ready to do attempts to get your Executrix, the better.

There's a level requirement - it's like... 72 or somesuch. That said, it's good advice! I was ~level 60 when ships hit (like bare minimum to start on them right away) - and focused on a plan that gave me the DS ships necessary to beat both of those challenges as soon as they unlocked. The result was that I had my first Zeta a few days after I hit 80, and was, for about a month until a day or three ago, the only Zeta haver running on my arena shard. Which was a huge leg up.

Looks like I'm hitting a wall at level 36. I'm getting flattened in the lvl3 Cantina battles, I've halted on 4-A in the light side battles for now because those have become increasingly difficult, and even worse I've stopped at 3-H on dark side battles. The bottleneck here for me is not having enough three-star or four-star heroes. Light side heroes I'm not too worried about since a lot of the ones recommended here are available and I just need to go through the laborious process of farming them, plus I unlocked Lando yesterday. Dark side heroes is another issue. I've got Talia at 3*, Royal Guard at 1*, Tie Fighter Pilot at 2*, and Snowtrooper at 1* -- all leveled with level 3 or 4 gear. I guess I'll be spending the next several days farming genosian soldier shards, Talia shards, and spending cantina credits to unlock Boba Fett in order to progress further in dark side battles. I kinda wish I've been spending my Squad Arena credits on IG-88 instead of Stormtrooper Han so I can buff up my dark side team first. Also the only guild store heroes I see are Dengar and Ewok Elder, I don't see Rex, Darth Maul or the others mentioned in OP. What gives?

I finally got the Slave 1 and hoooo boy it's already showing some strength in the arena. Phew I was getting so anxious. Scimitar is only one pull away too whenever it decides to show up. I suppose I should keep farming them all the way to 7* since they seem like top tier ships. I'll have to always have like 1600 arena tokens saved in case I see them

Keep working on Han. I didn't like him at your level because I didn't really fully get his abilities and he's also a bit weak early on but he gets hella strong later

STHan is great for arena, don't worry about it. Please don't farm Talia shards, just follow the OP and what I suggested a couple lines up to someone else. Finish farming Lando; it doesn't matter if you can't go further in cantina battles when you have the node you need unlocked. I just set Darth Maul as my dark side leader. He should be able to carry you pretty far since he gains 100% TM on killing blow. Just post your ally code and I will add you.
