I'm pretty sure like 90% of the money he donated went to a bunch of consultants and local politicians and administrators instead of people actually working for said schools, so it ended up being pretty revealing in the same manner as filling up a lovely bucket and seeing where the leaks came from

Many of them are also insufferable assholes. Then there's about 10x that number of people who are also like that but without the good business idea.

It kind of is a cool commentary on the state of culture to see how corporate guys in movies and shows from the 80s were pretty much always assholes and villains but are now presented as heroes I mean sure you have evil corporate guys, but their being evil usually stems from them opposing the hero corporate guy
