CJ Prosise' injury must not be recovering as well as they had hoped and Rawls has missed significant time in both of his 2 seasons in the league. PCJS do not tolerate players who can't stay healthy or have recurring injuries. Unger and Okung are prime examples of guys who repeatedly couldn't play full seasons and were unloaded and let walk respectively. Add much as fans like Rawls and see him as Lynch 2.0, I don't think he's going to pan out in Seattle. Put it this way, if he doesn't make it through a full season next year or prove that he is actually Lynch 2.0, I doubt they resign him for anything more than a minimal contract. But gently caress me. Eddie Lacy for $5+M? We could sign our entire oline 3 times over for less than that. One in the Bum fucked around with this message at 18:15 on Mar 14, 2017 |

Wonder if we can find that Mariners scout who lost his job after taunting Jesus Montero with an ice cream sandwich during a MiLB game. Montero went on to lose a ton of weight so it seems to have been successful motivation.

Many died in the Great Seattle Foodtruck War. Historians point to the signing of famed Iron Chef Host Eddie Lacy, whom at the time was playing American Football. The influx of Chinese food trucks upset the delicate balance of power and tentative peace between the entrenched legions of Mexican, Thai, Vietnamese, BBQ, and hot dog trucks. Skirmishes were initially reported to have started due to a contract dispute on the Microsoft campus parking lot. Casualty reports soon rose to the tens of thousands of ruined chicken breasts and pork loins. A generation was lost,, buried in the napkins and utensil wrappers in those asphalt fields.

Seattle and San Francisco both have big Asian communities, I'm guessing that's where the teriyaki craze started before white people took it nationwide.

Rachel Belle did a news piece on both teriyaki and pho (separately) for KIRO and it's kind of crazy how far back it goes at how the restaurants got started on the west coast and spread from there. Much like the Seattle dog, the origins of the original are disputed.

No I don't think he'll even start again, sounds like they are going to see if he can play right tackle and keep him as a swing backup. He's on the last year of his rookie deal so they don't get anything by cutting him this year and if he's a decent backup maybe they can get him to stay on cheap next year as a backup? What a waste of a number 2 pick. They are doing a good job rebuilding the offensive line this offseason though, I can get excited about a Whitworth-Saffold-Groy/Mangold-Brown-Havenstein line
