We had a pancake party for our students tonight. The woman who bought the supplies bought jam and chocolate sauce for topping, which makes sense, but also got ketchup. The kids were mixing it all together. I am grossed out.

I seem to remember Soylent being about logically and efficiently getting nutrients into you because flavor, consistency, and food preparation are for fire-worshipping luddites, which real tech geniuses have no time in their productive lives for. Now there's a bunch of flavors, shapes, textures, even sauces and things you can mix together? It's starting to seem like a *gasp* normal food product!
