Wii U was great if you like Nintendo stuff, but that better do it for you cause games from everyone else generally didn't happen. Probably a lot to do with why Nintendo is going hard after Indie stuff now and hopefully keeping the trash out this time.

If I create a new account for the USA thing does that mean I get another user on my switch? I don't know how the heck to do another account thing. Also why on earth would they delay Isaac?

I hope they give the Epic Dumpster Bear guy dev kit though. The game looks like trash or a joke game with all public domain assets, but as a platformer it actually has great level design and the controls feel good, and the touchscreen gimmick stages were a welcome change of pace. It used the gamepad better than most of Nintendo's games.

Did they ever fix or have plans to fix the controller sync issues, dock screen scratching, etc. stuff? I'm wondering if I shouldn't wait until they release a new version of the hardware ala DS lite before getting one.

If you have a desyncing left joycon you can send it in under warranty. If you have a pinched dock, same, but I'd say just stick a book in it and leave it in a window while you're at work and it should set in a better position.

I mean, maybe EDB is ok? But the screenshots on the eShop look like the most awful thing and I just can't justify spending the 4 dollars or whatever to play it. Maybe EDB2 will be better.

Ya, the whole Nintendo is doomed/dead thing is old at this point. They don't overextend themselves and serve their niche. That is pretty much like saying Apple is dead if their watch fails. Even though I have a N3DSXL, I still like my 2DS. I use it as a beater for when I travel so I don't lose or damage my Majoras Mask N3DSXL. I actually kinda prefer the 2DS for games like Mario Kart because of the shoulder buttons.

You hold the power button for a while and a menu will show up that gives you the option to shut it down completely, it's not a button exactly. I did that at first but then found out the Joy Cons don't charge if the system is completely off and stopped doing it.

I feel like I had somehow found a way to access that from a controller but I guess I was just imagining it. You have to hold the home button on the switch itself to access the reboot/shut down menu.

Holding down the power button should bring a menu with "Sleep Mode" and "Power Options"; selecting power options brings up the options of Shut Down and Restart.

Oh! You guys are right! I kept holding the home button on the pro controller but there it is when I hold it on the Switch's actual power button. This is a great help, thanks!
