Speaking of saves, have they said how exactly progress in the trial transferring to the full game is gonna work exactly?

I'm replaying the series, and I just went from me1 to me2 and man are these menus such a step backwards. I have no idea why people thought that me2 was a better pc port. All of the keyboard shortcuts are gone, and you can't use the scroll wheel. And then in game, there's 3 different things things bound to space bar that you can't rebind separately, and no binds for individual weapons (just scrolling)

I imagine it will be seamless. It'll be as though you're just playing the same game on a newer patch.

It should work exactly like you had played the real game for ten hours. Just pick up immediately where you left off.

Is there really no quick save during priority mission? Oh God.

You go in a dungeon or story quest and you are at the game's mercy for autosaves.

For some reason people forgot that Bioware's UIs have been poo poo since they went hard on consoles. ME1's UI was bad, ME2's atrociously bad. etc. Inquisition's UI was a trainwreck, but at least it didn't put every single action on the same keybind. And EA - loving we-make-half-our-money-from-multiplayer-only-games-EA - still is putting out games where mics are always-on and you can't turn your loving VoIP off. Seriously, it's 2017 and I can't turn the VoIP off in a AAA game, how is that acceptable in any way?

If the word 'game' in the context you are using does not refer to Andromeda, then you are correct. If the word 'game' in the context you are not using does not not not refer to Andromeda... uhh, where was I going with this?

Regardless, it's a fine game.

So why couldn't they just reuse all of the old animations from ME3 that people didn't have a problem with?

The movement animations in this game are actually considerably better. The bespoke dialogue animations are the ones people have issues with.

Right but what I mean is from the Origin program do I need to preload the proper game now and have TWO forty plus gig programs? Will the proper installation copy my saves from the trial installation?

early access is literally the full game but they dont allow you to play more than 10 hours so everything is exactly the same and you dont need another 40 gigs

I believe the game you have is the full game just with locks on it. When the game goes live it should just unlock the same install you have been playing.

How come the dyke crew member isn't female romancable? Are Bioware just doing it to troll lesbians at this point? IIRC it was the same in DAI.

This is probably my biggest worry going in. There's actually no quick save feature at all, only manual and autosaves. Manual saves are disabled during priority missions for some crazy reason. I tend to die often in games (starting on Insanity won't help) so I'm probably looking forward to either tedious manual saving every minute or retracing a bunch of steps all the time.

guess we will know if the story, choices, dialogue and characters picks up before the game actually releases

If it's anything like the other bioware games, it doesn't store your saves in the origin folders. They're stored in %DOCUMENTS%\BioWare

If it's trying to install the full program in addition to the demo, you can probably safely delete the demo as long as there's a Andromeda folder in the BioWare folder.

Seems weird to me that they would support same sex romance options but restrict you to the cockroach lady and Shrek.
