the maddening and ridiculous thing about everything is even if everyone gets behind the corporate dems like they want and somehow they get landslides and filibuster proof majorities in both houses and the presidency, they wont push any meaningful economic progressive agenda and will try as hard as they can to maintain the status quo or move it rightward. they've quite literally already had their chance to prove they'd get behind progressive agendas in 2008 and them selling out so hard is why they've lost everything politically.
