He may have been affected by it, but he made the changes. AIR: Finished work, nothing to change. Haruhi: Author went on extreme hiatus after anime done, unlikely to be the result of the anime. Was involved with production and suggested the achronological broadcast order idea. Kanon: Finished work, nothing to change Lucky Star: Nothing really changed to my knowledge. Clannad: Finished work, nothing to change. K-On!: Kakifly was asked to continue the series, introduced more of Jun/Ui with Azusa in the High School series. Nichijou: Nothing really changed, but the author was heavily involved and showed them around the locations used for the show's scenery/buildings. Hyouka: The author literally wrote 5 shorts after the anime was made. Not enough evidence to tell anything. Chu2koi: The author incorporated the new characters into a third novel. High Speed!: I can't say anything really changed. Kyoukai: Author loved the adaptation, hasn't written anything since. Amagi: Author Shoji Gatou supervised the scripts that were adapting the novels and added content he hadn't thought of yet for the series. Phantom World: same as above. Euphonium: Anime inspired the author to write more. Planning of the anime encouraged her to focus on Natsuki/Yuuko in novels 2/4. Anime itself inspired her take on Azusa in the spin-off. Koe: Author involved in scriptwriting/planning of the story. In general, if the author doesn't get involved, they're pretty much in agreeance with any changes made. Happy Dragon New Year! Great, warm and fuzzy ep. Looks like next week is our flashback to Kobayashi and Tohru's first meeting, and I'd bet quite a bit that our finale will introduce Tohru's dad. Although, who was that at the end of the preview? Didn't look anything like Iruru unless I'm just completely misremembering, but I don't know who else I could be missing...

I liked how Tohru was dressed as the girlfriend wearing the Kimono while Kobayashi wore the boring guy clothes. I also found it kinda hilarious how Tohru's maid persona went out the window and couldn't resist the siren call of the Kotatsu.
