Does include kids/young readers books Video Games: none. (Video games are vetted to provided an 'authentic' Star Wars feel, but are not considered canonical)

You also need to be an * next to the novelizations of the new movies, as they can have non-canon content. This is per Pablo and the story group. Anything which contradicts something which is seen in the movies is non-canon, but new material not seen in the movie is canon. It's a bit of a dumb caveat, but it makes some form of sense. The novelizations are based on earlier scripts and edits, so by the time the movie hits theaters dialogue or scenes may have been tweaked so they no longer line up 1 to 1 with how the book has it. Example: Movie: Vader chokes the Rebel ship captain. Novelization: Vader slices the Rebel ship captain with his lightsaber. Movie is the canon version. Movie: Vader leaves the dead captain and we cut to the next scene with the heroes. Novelization: Vader leaves the dead captain and goes to take a dump, we then jump to our heroes.
