Every single year the Ivy League takes a break from fucking up the world through its various alumni to fuck up everyone's bracket instead.

He's the best player in the class so yes unless something goes terribly wrong. Why would that stop him from going to UVA?

It's a tough system to pick up. Obviously talent finds a way & you get a player like that on the court if he comes to you, just that Bennett tends to prefer developing players he'll have for 3-5 years.

do you seriously think the reason they haven't signed a number one prospect yet is because they don't want them

No, of course not. Would just be interesting to see how Bennett goes about it, since it's different from a long-established MO. Almost certainly a moot point though.

Oh that person would happen to be point guard Trae Young who spurned KU recently for Oklahoma. He's from Norman and Gottlieb yesterday threw out the idea that he hasn't signed either and may want to join Porter at Missouri which...his parents would have to move out of Norman I'm thinking.

Also for the people who don't quite understand what the big deal on Porter is, not all overall #1s are created equal. With Porter, think Kevin Durant level of ability.

UVA's lost three players in two days. Jarrod Reuter's not a big loss and would've done even less going forward, but Marial Shayok and Darius Thompson both saw a lot of time, and would have had a big role as fifth-year seniors next season. As grad transfers they'll be eligible immediately elsewhere, so maybe will transfer down a peg into starting jobs.

Pleated pants on a coach should be an automatic $10,000 fine.

Huh Georgetown actually fired John Thompson III, which is surprising only because of his last name.

That ought to be a really good job, but I have no clue who they go after unless John Thompson IV is ready to go.

They were fourth by Kenpom's adjusted O, which isn't first but is pretty good. I guess there's probably some metric out there that has them first?
