I don't think I've seen any ads against it, politically motivated or not, but Pueblo had recreational pass this last voting cycle and there's plenty of stories out there about the shady poo poo the anti-weed people were doing. At least one group got caught up in legal issues because they didn't file the proper paperwork to be a little political bitchfit. Pretty much once the money starts showing its head in municipal pockets, no one wants to give it up. Colorado Springs will flip eventually, if for no other reason than the money.

The Freedom Caucus single handedly torpedoed the AHCA/Trumpcare/Ryancare/what the gently caress ever else the republican healthcare bill was called. And they did so after spending the last seven years  about Obamacare and how as soon as they had both the executive and legislative branch they would get rid of it because the only thing blocking them was the President and they didn't need any democrats.It will be the same group that torpedoes the budget, tax reform and shuts down the government because they refuse to allow budget extension/deficit cap adjustments that allow the government to function (think all that poo poo hits in May... but don't quote me on that). Beyond that, they typically vote against any sort of spending increase whatsoever (unless it's for the military), vote against any raising of taxes, and forced Boehner out because he actually tried to govern once in a while. Out of thirty-plus members, four of them entered Congress before 2010. None of them know anything about governing or crafting legislation, all they know is stomping their feet and saying no.
