Living the Dream
The Promised Neverland: :stare:

Our obvious suggestions are apparently obvious.

Ray and Emma were pretending not to care anymore and letting Don and Gilda take care of preparations.

Ray and Emma argue a bit over when to do it, Ray proposes immediately. His solution: Burn the house down, and use some prepared molotovs to set fire to the forests in the surrounding plants when they get up on the wall to draw attention away from the bridge, after plugging the keyhole in Isabella's secret room so she can't call for help. They start pouring lamp oil everywhere in the dining hall.

Emma asks what they'll do if Isabella decides to forget about the house and make sure Ray and Emma don't get away. Ray gives her a scrapbook full of pictures of them and the other kids, then shows her his solution: He dumps a can of oil on himself and lights a match.

Well. :stare: That escalated quickly.

I never expected to see suicide by self-immolation in a Shounen Jump manga. Jesus christ. Once Ray started talking about his "set everything on fire" plan I kept thinking "She's gonna stop him right? Right??"

Same with kissanime, kisscartoon, gogoanime, and a lot of other sites.

Either the ad agency they use has been compromised, or they sold out and went full "gently caress the users".

Kisscartoon opened a new tab to my facebook page. Closed it instantly but I'm not sure what was going on with that.

So golf manga seems like it's got no idea where to go.

Turns out Robokun does kinda play golf. Just taking short shots while waiting for his dad at work. The dad clearly was a big deal golfer or something that down low trained him.

Reads like a cross between prince of tennis and initial d. But golf.

For Kissmanga, just install uBlock Origin and make sure you enable the "Toggle the blocking of all popups for this site" option when you visit (click the uBlock icon and it is the button on the bottom-left that looks like two overlapping pages). That will fix the popups on the first link you click.

Or you could use a site that doesn't force you to jump through those hoops.

I never noticed anything happened to Kissmanga because I use Adblock Plus, with two greasemonkey scripts that disables anti-antiadblock stuff and forcibly suppresses any popups even if I trigger them.

people who like to read a wider selection of manga, with the images all on one page. things also tend to show up on kissmanga sooner. batoto is good for higher quality scans in general i guess

i think shady ads have been a complaint for a long time with the kiss- sites? maybe they did something that bypasses abp because you shouldnt be getting anything

It's the same bullshit they've pulled before. Pop ups in the next page buttons for new releases, pop ups when you go to the next page in a chapter. Basically anything you might click has an ad waiting to appear and make loud noises. Use ublock origin on PC, mobile is basically SOL.

Even if you suppress all of the popups, it wouldn't sit right with me knowing that there are tons of malicious scripts running in the background just chomping at the bit to get past noscript or whatever at the first opportunity afforded. But whatever, the information has been disseminated at this point so do with it what you will and/or are comfortable with doing.

Just clicking on empty space will cause an ad to appear, not just links.

Promised Neverland has shown us very clearly what the destination is and it'll probably be at least as fun as the journey when they get there.

We're like four mini-journeys into TYTL now, which have had more or less the same scenery, and the destination is still unknown.

A good chapter and I think they deserved an unambiguous victory at this point. And i'm glad Emma saved her pal. On the other hand, I think it's lame that all of this is apparently Norman's plan. I'm cool with him leaving something behind or having some secret plan to be helpful even in death. But it'll be a shame if the end result of that fantastic glare Emma gave 2 chapters ago is just that she's following a plan that Norman made 2 whole months ago, with her not having come up with anything.
