Woj has very few to no sources in the Kings front office. He was super critical of Vivek and Vlade because he's nothing but a mouth piece and PDA was a huge leaker. But NBA deals are not a one party only setup and Woj gets news because someone outside the org lets him know. I would take Hinkie but that either means he's replacing Ken Catanella (bad, Vlade just brought him on a year ago) or Vlade (super bad because lol more turmoil).

Or  he's being put in over Vlade which is great because Vlade was brought in with a nebulous title to basically sit over our GM Pete D'Allessandro. Now we might bring in someone else to now sit on top of Vlade? What kind of title will Hinkie get?

Because to be honest such a method would probably optimize my reading time and give me 3 extra seconds each day to post about wrestling instead of wasting time going oldest to newest looking for those high value dokmo posts.

There's no executive waiver wire (which would be the most lol thing in the world), so Hinkie still has a contract. There's probably an out if Hinkie wants to stop getting checks, but no reason for him to do that until a job is offered. Lots of arguments about whether the full-monty tank is a good idea or not but I am not sure if Hinkie's strategy works as a half measure or not. Of course, Hinkie could have another gear that he never got a chance with in Philly.
