The funny thing about "don't gently caress with Aria" is that it's like literally the one line of dialogue you can't skip in the whole game. Like they were super proud of getting Carrie Ann Moss and doubly proud of how super mature and edgy they were being

Two were from Ryder.
One from that Asari scientist that you take the drug formula away from, that woman was angry LOL. If that had been Shepard instead of Ryder she'd be dead though.
Another was from that other human scientist that you hunt through the cluster and I won't spoil her story, because it's kind of cute.
There might have been more, they don't overdo it and in a game that is probably more than 80 hours long if you really try to do "everything", it still feels kind of rare and takes you by surprise, which seems like an O.K frequency for fucks.

I mean that they do less damage than guns I made of lower tiers. It has some kind of bugs going on when you craft guns where sometimes you get the right amount of damage, sometimes way less and sometimes absolutely 0 when tested on enemies.

There was this weird moment in games (I think between ME1 and ME2) where saying "gently caress" was something that was just Not Done in the vast majority of titles. I think it wasn't until GTA/Max Payne and maybe one or two others that blatantly violated that taboo, the sky didn't fall, and everyone else started doing it. The same thing happened with explicit nudity more recently.

Max Payne 2 was the first game I remember hearing gently caress in, and it was funny because Vinnie Gognitti went from saying "freakin" in Max Payne 1 to saying "gently caress" every other word

My experiments in crafting went similarly poorly.

Beam and electric are very short range. Basically useless if you don't want to be in shotgun range.
Vintage heat sink isn't worthwhile because the clip size becomes so small. Maybe on a sniper that would have to reload after each shot anyway.
The grenade/sticky grenades are probably the most effective I've found, but don't seem to really increase damage, basically just add a delay.
The N7 Valkyrie doesn't even work with a bunch of those mods.

I guess, overall my question would be is there any mods that are even worth using? I've heard good things about the tracking ones. Don't know what they're called since I don't have it yet. But I don't think I've been able to make a gun that was any better than the ones I've been finding.

I haven't been messing with alot of the combat type special augs since I am playing full engi, but I do know it was very easy to get more damage on your weapon compared to any you find just via having 4 mod slots instead of two (I was able to buy +2 mods at numerous places, including the nexus). I mostly wanted those ones because they would give me a bunch of bonuses to my dude that matter (the actual shooting part I don't care much about).

For the guy saying that his crafting tooltip was lower, that likely isn't actually the case. Any "widow III" you find in the open world will have 2 mods, any you craft can have 4 mods + 3 other effects. The reason your tooltip/compare might be saying it's a downgrade, assuming you aren't actually comparing something like a looted widow V vs a crafted widow I, is likely because your tooltip/compare includes the +13% damage your barrel IV is currently giving you, while your crafted one isn't showing you the damage it will get after using the same weapon mods.

At least, I was confused by this at first.

Shield oscillator is really good on low clip size guns, or on armour. Gives you a shield boost when you empty the clip for a gun, or when you kill someone with armour. I roll with it on the dhan shotgun. Combine that with charge and you can really gently caress poo poo up.

At the very least make use of the extra mod slot augs.

Other than that I haven't really touched most of them. But most of the kett weapons are pretty neat and different feeling. I will never not have the Dhan in my inventory, it's basically a plasma shotgun with zero spread that can do ~1000 damage with the right mods.

No I'm on a vanilla. Aside from hidden loading screens (taking off, landing) all I get is like a few seconds when fast traveling.

Now multiplayer, that has endless loading times.

The entire reason for them going to Andromeda on the meta level is to literally erase the existence of the Reapers from the plot.

Mass Effect: Andromeda is just the first Mass Effect yelling mulligan from the other room and muttering about how you shouldn't play with all-powerful Lovecraftian bad guys before complaining that kids these days are all about that open world nonsense.

I dunno, I always got the impression not everyone was satisfied with the Council saying it was the geth - especially when Citadel reveals that the Council knew perfectly well the geth didn't make Sovereign, they were just trying to prevent a panic. I kept expecting to run into someone saying "I was the captain of a carrier in the Second Fleet. I saw Sovereign. Yeah, no, I'm not staying in a galaxy with those things."

Hackett in 2 and 3 certainly implies he believed the Reaper threat was genuine and did everything in his power to prepare the Alliance for the war.

There were a variety of Reaper truthers in the original trilogy but seriously, they're purposefully excising any and all Reaper stuff on purpose.

The problem with the Reapers was that they were meant to be all-powerful eldritch horrors that couldn't be stopped, and adding them in by definition meant they either needed an unhappy ending or an ending full of plot holes to explain away the Reapers. The went with the latter.

Andromeda is a convenient way to get out of that problem and start fresh and that's basically the only logical reason for the game to be as it is because in universe context the Andromeda Initiative is preposterously stupid and wouldn't work.

It's just frustrating because it's the same cries of:

1) What about the chirality of the Turian amino acids?
2) Why don't you need mass relays to travel between stars?
3) Why haven't they heard from the Milky Way?

etc, over and over and over.

None of it's particularly clever, but goons gonna goon, I guess.

More than that: they went with multiple endings that are mutually incompatible and one of which (Synthesis) is hard to follow up on in its own right.
