Wow, Orisa's been in comp for a hot minute and they've already nerfed her by slowing her speed while firing in midair. I always thought that that was a feature. It's a pretty inconsequential nerf, all told, but a nerf is a nerf.

Of course they'd need to implement a system where you can't kill yourself and if you play like poo poo (die in a lemmings fashion or something like that) then you get respawned with the same hero until you do something right.

I seem to have reached the point where seeing a yellow coin turning into 500 currency chest invokes a "YES" reaction instead of "gently caress". Not much that I would actually want from those non-event legendaries anymore, aside from some skins for Genji and Widow which are better than my current ones (though I don't play either one outside Mystery heroes), and the D.Va Dorito emote which is kind of on my shopping list. This is after 205 levels, 96 purchased loot boxes, shitloads of arcade boxes and 9000 in-game in savings.

Rein seems to be going the way of the Dodo in my games. I don't see him at the start of games, its just Road and Zarya, with Genji/Tracer/Lucio/Ana. Only times I tend to see a Rein is if i'm picking them far to often with Road. It's really odd.

In high plat/diamond I never fail to see at least one Rein, and if my team doesn't have one someone will 100% bitch about it to no avail. I wish I enjoyed playing Rein more so I could fill, but I really don't like the shield game. Besides the shield Rein is super fun, at least! And in fact the whole Shield Standoff meta is super boring, I'm glad we're seeing more dive comps now.

I haven't played in like three weeks and man that was enough to be completely lost on what's changed. At my very low MMR I enjoy shooting people with the horsey and people never give the offense assist cards any votes with Mercy no matter how much healing I put out that round.

The worst are the "waiting for players" with 11/12 players... waiting for players...waiting for players...waiting for players... get back to the menu dickhead, we don't have anyone to fill into your game in our Overwatch pool of 25 million players. Ok it's just 25 million people across a whole year who have purchased it, on all platforms, all MMRs etc. But you know, maybe there's one person queuing to similar game as I am? Maybe? Could it be?

i meant in like, the larger picture, itd be embarrassing to admit to generally anyone on this entire dead poo poo planet how much it pisses me off when a video game matchmaking service spends minutes, sometimes TEN minutes, jerking me around but it really, seriously annoys me.

Overwatch is a game I play in-between checking my twitter feed. It's gotten so bad this past week that three times now I've given up after waiting ten minutes to find a dang QP match. It sucks being put into so many skirmishes and everyone else just filters out while you sit there like a jackass.

Hey you know how in games like Rocket League you have a checkbox where you tick all the game modes you're interested in playing and it matches you to the next available one of those? That's a thing right? Why can't Overwatch do that? Why can't I select QP, Mystery and 3v3 Elims all at once and have it dump me in to any of those that pop first?
