If you think torp scouts and party bus are obnoxious, let's talk about torpedo party scouts. A points restriction wouldn't help, because Scum crew slots are so valuable. You're never thinking about how much the crew you're putting on costs in points, rather the opportunity cost of putting that crew on instead of the other one.

There were some janky rebel lists at Naboo that got caught on the Krayts' recordings. I want to try them. I think my favorite was the one with Biggs w/R2-D2, Integrated Captain Rex w/Masterpiece, Slicer Tools Roark (the PS12 HWK pilot) w/TLT, Operations Specialist Jess Pava w/Stressbot, Integrated Might be an upgrade or two I'm missing. Going by memory here. It looked like a lot of fun. Use Roark to give someone a shot at PS12--probably Rex to suppress them. If it misses, give an extra focus to Biggs. Then at your regular PS everyone else shoots.

Or a tactican on him for ALL THE STRESS My buddy placed 20th in Swiss at Hoth with a similar list, but dropping Bigg's R2-D2 to R4-D6, dropping the upgrades on Rex, putting M9-G8 on Jess, and replacing Roark with Braylen Stramm with R3-A2, Gunner, and Alliance Overhaul. Lock Jess onto Braylen, then you can roll 2 dice on your first attack and reroll a hit to a miss to trigger Gunner and then shoot three dice and reroll a miss on your second attack. It's a pretty potent (and expensive) way to double stress a ship without having to deal with the white-green dial of the Y-Wing. e: four ship rebel lists are pretty good with Biggs and Rex IMO ee: Roark Garnett is likewise really good, and four-ship rebel lists (using him and a combination of generic T-70s and TLT-Ywings) won two local store champs here as well. Crackswarm is solid. Best Rebel list is probably Fat Han plus 2 A-Wings instead of the Z's, or a nice ace. Nera Dantels with deadeye/torps/Sabine/bombs would be fun

I don't think they'd let you take the TIE/fo in that format. I'd probably go with Howl, 3 Black, 3 Academy crackswarm. The ships available aren't exactly wowsers and you should have no trouble making GBS threads all over them.

Rex uses slicer tools for his action any time there's a stressed enemy nearby (which should be most turns). Roark gives PS12 to Rex to shoot first. Biggs triggers an evade from Jan Ors as his action, so feed him focuses with OpsSpec for anyone who misses. Rex will likely miss especially if he slices. Use bombs if anyone gets behind you. Could switch for seismic charges instead of ion bombs. Or hell drop the bombs and Jan for a second OpsSpec to get two focuses with every miss. Seems dirty.

I also switched out the TLT on Roark for an Ion Cannon Turret and messed around with the 1 leftover point in various ways, but the Ion Cannon Turret afforded some more control over the TLT when it would land. It also made Roark less of a target, which generally resulted in folks either shooting Rex (which means not shooting at the damage workhorse Jess) or shooting at Jess while she gets re-rolls and some help from Fire Suppression. It's a really fun, janky list. Here it is in action:  And yes, my friend is running Pure Sabaac with 4x PS1 Interceptors. That was probably one of the most fun and visually awesome games we've played. I never thought I'd be terrified of watching a line of TIE Interceptors snaking their way through an asteroid field in perfect formation just to be a bunch of assholes by blocking my own beautiful formation and making it fall apart.
