They could've destroyed the Tories after the referendum, but instead, no, jumping in front of Cameron's spotlight shouting "US, US, IT WAS US, WE DID BREXIT, BLAME US" it was.

secret corbyn master plan, blairites do not read: 1. alienate remain voters by supporting brexit (first tacitly, then openly), hope ukip voters replace leave voters 2. ukip voters defect to the tories instead because they're all right-wing pieces of poo poo 3. (still working on this bit) 4. long live the united socialist republics of britain

Corbyn is a cool guy but too left wing for British politics. Most British people like his policies when his name isn't attached to him, it's because he's considered 'anti British' by a sizable minority of people (basically he's not racist enough) so he will never seize power. The best bet for the Labour left is to use a centrist to get into power, then attempt to manipulate them from the backbenches and cabinet. It also needs to build up talent fast.

Labour is full on 2006 Democrats mode. The Democratic party's Progressive Caucus is huge and is most of the House membership. Labour is in worse shape than the left now rising within the Dems.

oh i thought it was voters who recently joined labour, which would be meaningful, but no it's just the same people who voted against corbyn during the leadership election who'd rather have a tory over a socialist not that much of a shocker, then.

They don't, that's why they were either remainers, or they were brexiters who thought they were making a safe bet for the losing side in an attempt to rise in internal party politics and now have to manage being winners.
