Hey Jackets, your defensive play and goaltending have been fairly spectacular of late, but would you mind scoring more than two goals? I mean, let's be fair, Philadelphia and Carolina were also very solid defensively, but actually scoring goals are going to be a valuable skill in a couple weeks.

It's definitely possible they can win the Pacific. Really, as long as they beat the Ducks and then match the Ducks point-for-point to end the season, they've got it.

RNH/ebs/luc, $18m for 50 goals/127 points this season. McDavid/draisatil/maroon is currently $3.35m for 82 goals/204 points. Of course in 2 years that's going to be a $20m line. They really should have signed maroon for like, 10 years, how much of a steal would he have been at 1.5 mil.

Zaitsev is fine as a defenceman -- even possession in fairly tough minutes while producing on the powerplay -- so 4.5 million a year is fine short term, but 7 years makes me uncomfortable.
