There was a bot when the game first came out that losing to it didn't actually count as a loss to you, and it losing didn't actually break its win streak, and all other kinds of crazy stuff. It's amazing what talented people can do when there is (I assume) no system in place to stop them.

Yeah he probably just can switch on/off various things on the fly like perfect defense, auto-parrying and such, so you get a Ryu that moves like a complete amateur but magically is able to block everything and confirm everything.

I'm no expert but my guess is that would cause things to break somewhere since it'd involve modifying the game files to have a "no charge Bison", obviously your opponent wouldn't have it so either the match would desynch or just crash on match start (or you get banned if they check for that kinda thing). You can very easily push charge buffer to the limit though, like ToolAssisted on twitter was showing off how you can do walk-up headbutt with Urien by walking for up to 15 frames. Basically anything goes which involves reading the data from you and your opponent's states and spitting out an input based off of those states. e: before the DP change a trivial unbeatable bot would just be a Ryu that sits in front of you and DPs you as soon as you do anything, maybe add throw attempts at random intervals and god knows you are not breaking those on reaction. apple fucked around with this message at 17:23 on Mar 31, 2017 |
