It's mostly this thing where he campaigned very strongly against monied interests having influence over politicians and when elected he just directly put said monied interests into power and cut out the middleman. Which I suppose doesn't make what he said a lie but it certainly takes the spirit of what he was saying and breaks it into tiny pieces.

No, he is the one who should prove that he is siding with the people, that all he wants is the good of the people, but neither his words or his actions proved this. Even his empty promises he just ignored when it came to action. There's absolutely NOTHING that would prove him worthy of trust, he brings nothing good to the table. And again, it's even worse than normal because instead of questioning why people reject him and maybe try to reach a compromise, he just turns against them, he calls them enemies and always blames them on his shortcomings. But why do I even bother, you just want the evil alien rulers to be thrown out and the only one who can stop it is the last action hero: Trump.

The same way he'll play the calm rationalist who will sacrifice morality if it means Americans saving money at the expense of foreigners in the form of protectionism, tariffs, and deportations, because that's more important than the rights or well-being of foreigners. Then when someone mentions that the prices of food and consumer goods will increase for Americans if you keep deporting farm workers and start a trade war, suddenly he'll take offense and chastise them for suggesting that rising prices is more important than morality and it's shameful that they think so little about the rights and well-being of foreigners. It's just nonsense. That's the only thing he stays consistent on is his absolute and unwavering devotion to Trump, and there is nothing Trump can realistically do to break that emotional bond. Look at how he tried to rationalize Trump outright saying he's not going to pursue Hillary Clinton and he just said that poo poo to get dupes riled up during the election.
