I started listening in probably 1997, during Scott the Engineer's push-up contest. I was a heavy smoker in my early 20s at the time and listening to everyone constantly berate Scott about his pathetic addiction was one of the things that motivated me to quit. I didn't want to be a loser like SCAAAAAAT!

That's when I started listening, too. I remember driving to school and listening to the insanity that was the studio during the contest and trying to figure out just what was happening.

Just wanted to say I met Billy West yesterday at Dallas Fan Expo. Super nice and friendly guy, told me when he was on the Stern show he was fighting clinical depression :/ I can't really imagine a worse environment to be in while fighting depression

- I knew Benjy was old, he must hate seeing his age in an article
- if Howard hears Benjy being called his right-hand man he'll be furious
- lol "he saw too much of me to have sex with me anymore"

She needs to just go away and not come back. I hated it every time Howard would fall into the Benjy vortex about her.

Artie must pay out the rear end for his lawyer. I don't think I've ever heard of another case where drugs are in property that you own but you're not charged because you were not there when the cops saw it.

First time I've heard a "new" show since Artie left... Howard really seems like he doesn't give a poo poo. It sounds like your average morning show with the poo poo bits and the host floundering around with no energy. Weird.

Yeah, it sucks. He's made no secret of it either, he outright said many times he doesn't give a poo poo like he used to. Nothing lasts forever I guess but this slow decline is kind of sad.

To be fair that's basically how he's started every morning for as long as I can remember. It's been one of the more relatable elements of his persona, because really who the gently caress wants to get up and go to work every morning, no matter what you do.

Agreed, he's always just been totally honest about what he thinks, and he still is.
