I guess I am fortunate that I am unable to see the tweets being shared right now on account of my employer (rightfully) blocking Twitter, and that getting a rotten tooth pulled later this afternoon means I wouldn't even be in a coherent, conscious frame of mind to get properly angry at them anyway. In a perfect world, the party would have competent leadership and dental insurance would be affordable to where a dude won't have to go twenty years since his last visit to a dentist. If I am to be miserable, at least it would be preferable to be that way because of my own body failing me, and not people.

if United sees a backlash it's going to be from China, not America. Weibo already has like a few million views on that incident and a ton of discussion, they're convinced the doctor was profiled because he's Chinese-appearing. Americans are too complacent to really shift away from a cheap airline, even if a bunch of people will stop flying United, but China is a growth market and there's not nearly the same amount of inertia
