It is definitely true that the right wing only started caring about ISIS once they heard that some (small minority) of the people they kill are Christian, and continue to only care about them for that reason to this day, because there is nothing in the world the American religious right wants more than to feel persecuted but yeah +1 on the whole "there are in fact Christians in the Middle East" thing because wow and also lol
