I went to a fairly nice mall and the handicapped stall was closed and locked and a homeless person was sleeping in it.

Also that's the face a preteen would make with makeup. I remember an incident in college where 3 neighborhood girls had done them up to be as adult as they could imagine and were walking up and down the street. My gf described the look as "clown hooker". I'm getting that same vibe.

Nothing against those girls. They were grade schoolers probably and I imagine it was fun for them.

I feel like I might have already said this. One thing I really like about Tina's Groove is that you can tell Tina and the blonde one (sorry!) are clearly meant to be attractive but are drawn in a cute way. It's not sexy at all and that's perfect for the comics page. There is a clear contrast between those two and Monica that goes beyond tube socks but zero va-va-voom. I don't know poo poo from character design but I appreciate that.

Boyce literally cut and pastes old comics and sometimes the values don't match. You can see it a lot with his deserted island comics when he just cuts the sun and moves it. Or here:

I checked all the way back to June 2014 (!) and this is indeed the same kid that made fun of Sarah at the museum, which eventually led to her meeting Mrs P and all the stuff with the book and art show that followed.

She stands up to him, and that inspires everyone else in his class to do the same, and I guess that's when he changed his ways.
