im pretty sure only pineapple has the bromelain, which is the enzyme citric acid is more present elsewhere but that's not what does the real tenderizing, at least in marinades and such

Bacon-wrapped apples are one of my favorite camping snacks. Just wrap them up in some foil with some brown sugar and cinnamon between the bacon and apple and chuck them into the campfire. Half an hour later you've got delicious meat wrapped around a lovely soft and sweet core.

The definitive best marinade for beef fajitas is from Pappasitos and is 50% pineapple juice (3 parts pineapple juice, 2 parts soy sauce, and 1 part water for those that are interested). Pineapple on pizza is terrible. Shockingly, some fruit and meat combinations are fine and good and should be applauded while others should be shunned and mocked like the people that advocate for them. Be reasonable people.
