Listening to the start of the new podcast and Harmon read the same book as me that convinced me that I probably have ADD. I've always related a lot to him and how he acts, maybe too much. I really want to get checked out for adult ADD but the nearest adult ADD specialist is like 100+ miles away, and it'd be impossible to get one of the doctors around here to send me down there a bunch, and even if I could I'd probably have to wait until I'm 43.

Was it "Driven to Distraction"? That was a huge help for me.

Also, you don't need to see an ADD specialist. I was able to get a lot of help from non-specialist shrinks.

They never said it would be D&D, Dan was role playing as a rapper and Jeff was a spot on gnome the whole episode.

I always got annoyed when they would try playing DnD in the last five minutes of the podcast. It's like what's the point?

You are crazy. The podcast was best when the average episode was Jeff and Dan banter->Dan and Erin have an argument on stage->drunken D&D

I've tried to listen to other D&D podcasts, where the players aren't drunk, and it's nowhere near as good.

I mean, come on, this was amazing

I don't disagree that they did some very entertaining stuff but it was torture when they scrambled to shove it into the last 5-10 minutes. Shadowrun was just a nonsensical mess.

Shadowrun was loving terrible. Nobody knows what Shadowrun is. Pulling multiple people out of the audience to play a game nobody understood was the worst idea ever.

A couple of them were okay. And the audience responses were funny during the Star Wars talk. I probably would have behaved similarly.

Oh, I totally agree; she needed to take it down a notch. You don't want an audience that's completely silent, but you don't want them to think they're equal to the people on stage, either.
